F.E. Moran Fire Protection

Q1 2015 Newsletter

Dear Reader,

We hope that the first quarter of the year has brought about new opportunities and great experiences. This quarter’s newsletter is featuring our debut of a new design to celebrate a new year.

This quarter we have three features. The first is a great example of how well-maintained fire sprinklers can save a business with our case study, “Bedford Park Warehouse Fire.” The second is “30 Rock: Fires in History.” Our Fires in History articles found popularity on our blog, so we are bringing them to your inbox. This particular Fires in History is about the 1996 fire at 30 Rockefeller Plaza that sent show production into the streets. Last, we are posting our quarterly Sprinkler Activation Report, showcasing the property, people, and production that were saved thanks to fire sprinklers.

Thank you for reading, and enjoy the brand new Fire Protection Press.

Feed my Starving Children is an organization that hand-packs meals for malnourished children. They ship the meals to 70 different countries worldwide. On Sunday, February 15, eleven employees, plus their families, joined in at North Central College to pack meals for children. FPN and other Feed my Starving Children volunteers packed 186,000 meals together.

A Warriors Mind

A Warriors Mind was a recently started non-profit that helps transition active duty veterans to the civilian world. Mike Woods, founder of A Warriors Mind, realized that many local veterans were unsure of what to do, and where to go. His organization helps by greeting our veterans at the airport, providing resources for finding a job, home, and every day support. F.E. Moran Fire Protection has become a sponsor to help this start up non-profit build a community and resources for vets.
