Man Killed in Boston Fire While Saving Family

Boston, MA -- A three story home was ravaged by a fire this morning. One man was killed when he repeatedly went back into the home to rescue family members.
"He certainly had the opportunity to get himself out," said Boston Fire COmmissioner Joseph Finn. "[The victim] went back and forth a couple of times to get his family members."
The man's body was found near the rear of the basement. Fire investigators believe he became disoriented while rescuing his family members.
The fire brok out at 7:30am this morning when someone on the first floor was cooking. The fire spread upwards and was extremely stubborn.
The house suffered $700,000 in damages and the home next door received $150,000 in damages.
