Two fire survivors are traveling to colleges and high schools across the country to tell their story and teach the importance of fire sprinklers and fire safety.
Alvaro Llanos and Shawn Simons were critically injured in a fire at Seton Hall in 2000. The fire was set by 2 male students who were pulling a prank after a big basketball game. Three students ultimately died in the fire.
Llanos and Simons now travel the country to teach fire safety and rally for fire sprinklers.
