Henrico, VA -- A woman has been charged with arson and burglary after she started a fire that was extinguished with fire sprinklers.

Crews responded to the fire at 3:03am on Tuesday.  When they arrived, they found smoke, but quickly realized that the fire sprinklers had mostly extinguished the fire.  By 3:26am, the fire was completely extinguished.

While crews were checking the property, they noticed a window open.  Shortly after, police stopped an SUV that was leaving the scene with a 46 year old female in the car.  Officers found evidence in the car that implicated her in the burglary and arson of the doctor's office.  She was charged with trespassing, burglary, possession of burglary tools, vandalism, and arson.  She is currently being held in jail without bond.

The building sustained minor smoke, water, and fire damage.  No one was in the building at the time.
