Burr Ridge Mansion Sustains $1.7 Million in Fire Damage

A fire at a mansion in Burr Ridge, IL caused $1.7 million in damages on Monday afternoon.

The Tri-State Fire Protection District was called to the single-family home when heavy smoke and fire was seen pouring through the roof.

Crews determined that no one was inside and moved to a defensive mode because the roof appeared unstable.

The blaze caused $1.7 million in damages to the 6-bedroom, 6,000 sf home.  This home is currently on the market for $1,199,900 according to Redfin.

One firefighter suffered a sprained ankle, but no one else was hurt.  The fire is not suspicious in nature and is currently under investigation.
